There are some activities that the students should do before debates:

GEOGRAPHY DEBATES DESCRIPTION:
According to the United Nations, Population ageing is unprecedented, without parallel in human history and the twenty-first century will witness even more rapid ageing than did the century just past. For some countries, old people can be a burden for a nation's economic because they do not productive anymore, but in Japan, the old people is a blessing and they do not become burden, How it can be happened? In Geography class, the students have a great opportunity to discuss about this matter by making "debates activities"
There are some activities that the students should do before debates:
- Students make report based on their investigation about " Old people: Is it disaster or blessing?"
- Students give critical thinking about what happened in Japan and compared it with Indonesian society nowadays related to political, economic and population development in Indonesia.
- Students should make debates preparation about "issues of ageing population"
